Gearóid Fahy is sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his 78 year old grandfather, Finbar Fahy. He robbed Mr. Fahy of €20, and then repeatedly smashed his head with a metal nail bar. Gearóid Fahy mistakenly believed that his grandfather was going to give his house to someone Gearóid Fahy did not approve of.
