There are no laws in Ireland specifically addressing Elder Abuse. Because of this, it is difficult to generate a full listing of convictions. The following are gleaned from various news accounts in Ireland. We hope that as awareness is raised more and more convictions will occur. We believe that the less Ireland's people tolerate the silence surrounding Elder Abuse, the less Elder Abuse will happen.
